Louis P. Springer, Jr November 14, 1943 - November 24, 2013 Louis P. Springer, Jr. of Hewitt passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel with the Rev. John Dirk officiating. Burial will follow at Friedens Cemetery in Riesel, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Louis was born November 14, 1943 in Perry, Texas to Louis and Esther Springer, Sr. He attended school in Mart, Texas and 4C College in Waco. He was retired and owned his own Real Estate Business. Louis was a member of Woodway First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Barton Springer. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Marlene Springer of Hewitt; his daughter, Brandy Springer of Waco; daughter-in-law, Ashley Springer Krassinger, of St. Louis, MO.; two grandchildren, Holden Springer and Madi Pike; two sisters. Helen Haferkamp and husband, W.B. of Hewitt and Ann Korger and husband, William, of Bryan, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are David Haferkamp, Douglas Haferkamp, Ricky Korger, Raymond Schimschat, Jr., William Hart and Bob Smith.
