Louise Virginia Nies October 11, 1920 - May 3, 2008 Louise Virginia Nies of Waco passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 6 at Oakwood Cemetery with Msgr. Mark Deering officiating. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, May 9 at Providence Park Chapel. Louise was born October 11, 1920 in Princess Anne, Virginia to Tunstall and Victoria McClanan. She served in the Army Nurse Corp during World War II and retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital in 1978. Louise was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Bellmead Rebekah Lodge # 213 and the VFW. She is survived by sister, Mildred Hassen, several nieces and nephews and special friends, Eugenia Olson, Charles and Irma Wheelwright, Roy and Liz Repking, and Jane and Jerry MacMundo.
