LOUISE FLEMMONS WALKER, 89, of North Richland Hills, died Friday, March 16, 2001. She was preceded in death by Jimmie Walker, her husband of 56 years in 1989. The celebration of her life will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 20th at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Waco with Randy Fenter officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday, March 19 at the Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Louise Walker was born September 1, 1911 in Pilot Point, TX. She lived the majority of her life in Waco and San Antonio, retiring from USAA in 1976. She was presently a resident of Meadowlakes Retirement Community and a member of the Richland Hills Church of Christ. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Survivors include her daughters: Janet Mathes of Columbus, OH and Kay Calvert and her husband Eddie of Holly Lake Ranch, TX; her brother Leonard Bailey Flemmons, Jr. and his wife Jean of Rosenberg; her sister Dorothy Yarbrough and her husband Chuck of Waco; her sisters-in-law Kathleen Kunz of Waco and Louise Spurgin of Dallas; her grandchildren: Cindy and Dan Ewing, Susan and Marty Dunstan, Rex and Pam Calvert, Jeff and Heather Mathes, Deena and David Petersen, Craig Mathes, Max and Janice Calvert; her great grandchildren: Allison and Wes Ewing, Ryan, Anna, Lindy and Bailey Dunstan, Kayla, Holly, Rhett, and soon-to-arrive Courtney Calvert, Trevor, Amanda and Seth Petersen, Sam Mathes and Bryn and Molly Calvert; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Open Arms Home,a ministry for abused women and children providing for their physical spiritual and emotional needs, 6250 N. E.
