Lucille Love Chastain July 4, 1914 - January 7, 2011 Lucille Chastain, our beloved Mother, Grandma Lucy, Grandma, Great-Grandma, GG, Gammaw, joined her Lord in Heaven on January 7th, 2011. Her memory will be honored with a Memorial Service at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, January 13, at Dallas Bible Church, 15765 Hillcrest Rd. in Dallas. Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 13, at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas. She was born in Waco, Texas to Arthur and Lila Love. Lucille graduated from Waco High School and attended Baylor University. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where she met and later married A.B. Chastain. They made their home in Dallas where they raised their daughters. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.B. Chastain; her sister, Nel Perkins Cheek, and her step-daughter, Norma Bell. Lucy leaves to cherish her memory, children, Linda & Phil Anderson of Dallas; Pat & Bo Bertling of Huntsville; step-daughter, Joan Basworth of Austin; grandchildren, Christi and Lee Tyler, Matt Anderson, Daniel and Marjorie Anderson, Angie and Eric Tarver, Jordan Bertling and Dana Olson, Jacob Bertling and Blake Bertling, Jay Bell, Susie Bell, James Bell, Greg Bell, Peter Bell and Chris Bell. They were the loves of her life, as were her great-grandchildren, Tyler Roberts, Dawson Tyler, Riley Anderson and Cole Bertling. Lucy also cared deeply for her special prayer warriors from Town North Bible Church, caregivers and friends, Ophelia Hill and Tommie Hudson. Lucy loved us all, prayed for us and always gave us a hug, a smile and a sweet word! In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Lucille's memory, be made to Dallas Bible Church, 15765 Hillcrest Dr., Dallas 75248.
