WARD, LUCILLE LUCY Lucille Lucy Ward, age 83, of Waco died Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at a local hospital. Services will be at 1:30PM Saturday, June 8 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Charles Middlebrooks officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Friday, June 7 at the funeral home. Mrs. Ward was born in Atlanta, Texas October 3, 1918 to James and Cora Godwin. She married Thomas Leroy Jack Ward June 13, 1938; he preceded her in death November 10, 2001. They moved to Waco, Texas in 1950. She was an employee of Baylor for several years and was a member of Waco Senior Bowling League. She was a lifelong Baptist. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters, and one great grandchild. Survivors include daughters, Peggy Tooker of Waco and Jackie Kirksey and husband, Carl of Arlington, son, James Ward and wife, Ruth of Rockwall, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, sisters, Josephine Lloyd of Longview and Tess Peters of Arizona and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be friends and family members. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity of choice. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
