Lucille Rose Alford May 30, 1910 - November 2, 2006 Lucille Rose Bray Alford, only child of William and Caroline Bray, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2006 at her residence after several years of a declining illness. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2006 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room with Linda Wiseheart Lackey officiating. Rose was born May 30, 1910 in Devol, OK but she had lived most of her life in Waco since 1949. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She was a Methodist. She was a professional seamstress, care giver to all and everyone appreciated her gardening abilities and memorable stories. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Fort Alford, son-in-law Morris Wayne Beheler and grand-son Daryl Gene Beheler. She is survived by two daughters: Darlene Beheler, Waco, TX and Billye Campbell and her husband Sandy of Valdosta, GA; sisters-in-law: Geneva Hatcher, and Willie May Griffin; eight grandchildren: Michael W. Beheler and his wife Eva, Carol L. Beheler Nystrom and her husband Paul, Jerry Don Beheler, Linda Campbell, Sanford Campbell, III and his wife Angelica, Sandra Holt and her husband Jim, Brant Campbell and his wife Marile, Carrie Clifton and her husband Robert; fifteen great-grandchildren: Breanna Valentine, Jerrod Beheler, Brennan Beheler, Tyler Nystrom, Adam and Chris Beheler, Alise Cartledge, Kirk Holt, Rob, Andrew and Will Clifton, Miriam, Bailey, Caroline and Brantley Campbell; two great great grandchildren: Kaiden Beheler and Braeden Valentine; numerous nieces and nephews; and special loving friends: Mildred Johnson, Gwynette and Mark Argo. Memorial donations may be made to the Prayer Garden Fund of First United Methodist Church, Valdosta, GA or to your favorite charity.
