Luise Conti Todd

TODD, LUISE Luise Conti Todd, age 86 of Waco died Friday, December 14, 2001 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday, December 18th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Monsignor Mark Deering officiating. Mrs. Todd was born January 12, 1915 in Victoria. She attended Victoria schools and nurses training at Scott and White Hospital in Temple. She served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a general duty nurse attaining the rank of 1st Lieutenant. She was awarded the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon, the American Defense Service Ribbon and the Italian Campaign Bronze Star. She moved to Waco in 1947. Mrs. Todd worked at the Waco V.A. Hospital from July, 1947 until her retirement in 1971. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church. Survivors include her son, James Newberry Todd of Waco; brother-in-law Don Donovan of San Antonio and nephew Joe Conti of Victoria. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
