KENT, MABEL PATZKE Mabel Patzke Kent, age 88 of Waco died Wednesday, July 09, 2003 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10am Friday, July 11 at Rosemound Cemetery with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Arrangements are through Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Kent was born February 19, 1915 in Milam County where she was reared and educated. She graduated from Yoe High School in Cameron. She attended beauty school in Waco. She married Ollie Kent September 29, 1935. He preceded her in death May 30, 1980. She was also preceded by their son, Larry Kent in 1952. Mrs. Kent was a cosmetician at Goldstein-Migel for many years retiring in 1978. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waco where she was a member of the Estherian Sunday School Class. Survivors include sisters, Ruth Gooch of Mineola and Mary Jane Golson of Waco and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to favorite charity.
