SULLIVAN, MABEL Mabel Sullivan, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at age 99. Services will be held at 1:30pm Saturday, October 9 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Lee Roark officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved sister Ruby in Oakwood Cemetery. She was the last of eight children born to Dora Alice and John Ovid Jeanes on Wednesday, January 19, 1905 in Oglesby, Coryell County, Texas. At an early age she moved with her family to Waco where she grew up and attended Waco Public schools. As soon as she was old enough she went to work at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where she worked for 36 years. After a long absence she is coming to Waco to be with her family again. She is survived by a sister, Esta Cast of Houston, her son Terry William Sullivan of Denton, granddaughter Tina Sullivan Hinton of Houston, great granddaughter Hope Hinton of Houston, grandson Robert S. Sullivan II of Dallas, great grandson William Peter Sullivan of Sherman and her favorite niece, Mildred Pyle of Waco. She was a faithful servant of the Lord most of her adult life and loved and revered by everyone whose life she touched.
