Mable Faye Petty September 23, 1927 - July 26, 2009 Mable Faye Petty of Waco passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Sonny Cathey officiating. A private burial will follow the services. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2009, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Faye was born September 23, 1927 in Temple, Texas to Bud and Iva Reed. She retired from Baylor University. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jesse Petty and son Erich von Reed. She is survived by two daughters; Rhonda Hanna and husband Ray, Annette Vaughn and Cliff Moore; one son Mickey Petty and wife Kathy; one sister, Billie Robert; 14 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
