Mabel Ruth Scallorn June 8, 1920-March 26, 2014 Mabel Ruth Scallorn of Monument, Colorado passed away March 26, 2014. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 5, at Waco Memorial Mausoleum. Mabel Ruth Scallorn was born in Thornton, Texas, on June 8, 1920, to Luther R. and Dora Mae Bailey. Ruth attended schools in Odds and Marlin, Texas. She married Howard M. Scallorn May 20, 1941. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, in 1996. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda S. Tower and husband, John of Monument, Colorado and SueAnn Scallorn of Longmont, Colorado; grandchildren, Kim Tower, John Tower Jr., Alyssa Kurtz, and Ariana Kurtz; and great grandchildren, Jay C.
