Mae Jule Wrobke

Mae Jule Wrobke, 89, of Waco went home to her Lord and Savior after a brief illness Thursday, July 28, 2005. Services will be at 10 am, Saturday, July 30 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bellmead with Pastor Walter Albers officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 5-30-7:30pm at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey funeral home. Mrs. Wrobke was born October 31, 1915 in Sparta, WI. to Frederick and Adele Steel. She grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from Nurses Training in Madison, WI. She served as a Registered Nurse in hospitals and for Tulsa Public Schools. Her caring nature endured her to people of all ages. In 1982, she retired to Waco and has been a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church for 20 years. She was an avid bridge player. She was dedicated to her family and enjoyed participating in many events in their lives. She was a wonderful model of Christ’s love to all. She was preceded in death by husbands, William Kieffer, Joe Floyd Wrobke and Frank Persson; son, Marshall Persson; her parents; brother, Marshall Steel and sister, Elaine Daehn. She is survived by daughter, Suzanne Persson Vincent Neuhaus of Waco; son, Robert Janet Persson of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Brent Kim Neuhaus, Amy Martin Kaufmann, Ryan Jill Neuhaus, David Sarah Persson, Scott Michele Persson, Steven Heather Persson, Michael Persson and Jeffrey Melinda Persson; sister, June Peterson; sister-in-law, Deloris Steel; five great grandchildren; also, Jim Shirley Kieffer, Jerry Audrey Kieffer, Dolores Mossman, Betsy Wrobke Dave Remley, Sally Wrobke Andy Brinker; as well as several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Endowment Fund or LCMS Texas District, Buda/Kyle Mission.
