Maggie Lee Gullion April 26, 1915 - January 28, 2008 Maggie Lee Gullion of Waco went to be with her Lord Monday, January 28, 2008. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Pastor Ernie Christie officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 1, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Maggie was born April 26, 1915 in Clarksville, TX to Louis Monroe Reed and Maggie Annie Reed. Maggie devoted most of her life to raising her children, being a fabulous cook, taking care of her home and being a devoted member of her church. She was a lifetime faithful Christian who constantly studied her bible and lived each day in a Christ-like manner. She was a loyal and helpful friend to all, and a loving and giving Mother and Grandmother. In her early adulthood, during World War 2, she worked in the bomb assembly plant at Lone Star Ordinance Depot. She later worked with her husband during his lifetime career of managing Piggly Wiggly stores. All who knew her know Maggie was one of the kindest and sweetest souls ever born. She was a member of Lake Shore Church of Christ in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Sam Turner Gullion, four brothers, four sisters and one grandson. She is survived by her two sons, Bill Gullion and wife, Diane, Waco; Stephen Gullion and wife, Liz of Houston; grandchildren, Greg Gullion, Angela Blair, Stacy Gullion, LeAnn Goyco and Kristi Dean; and brother, Alvis Grayson and wife, Edna of Odessa; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Greg Gullion, Stacy Gullion, Claude Blair, Rafael Goyco, Doug Dean and Thomas Walker.
