JOHN A. KEYSON Major John A. Keyson U.S. Army retired, 79, of Woodway, died Tuesday December 3, 2002 at a Temple hospital. Services will be 11:30am Friday, December 6th at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd.; burial will follow in Waco Memorial North cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will begin 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. John was born June 20, 1923 in Canonsburg, PA. His 79 years reflected fulfilled dreams which included military service in WWII and Korea, Civil service in the Waco Veterans Administration, as a benefits counselor. A lifelong Friend and Wife, EmmaLee, with whom he celebrated a 58 year wedding anniversary in Nov., three children, four grandchildren and countless friends whose lives he touched. An active member of the First Baptist Church of Woodway. His positive approach to life was often heard with his familiar “Lord willing and the Creeks don’t rise”, Farewell. Until we meet again.
