Mamie Louise Robinson August 31, 1914 - December 20, 2014 Mamie Louise Robinson of Waco went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Mamie Barrett Robinson was born August 31, 1914 in Aquilla Hill County, Texas, to Wylie and Henartta Johnson Barrett. Mamie was united in marriage to George F. Robinson October 25, 1931. Mamie was a long time member of Park Lake Drive Baptist Church she dearly loved her Gleaners Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, on May 29, 1970. Also preceding her in death was her father and mother; a sister, Alyne Burkes; and a brother, E.W. Barrett. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Frances Beatty and husband, Charles; and one nephew, Carlton Tanner. Mamie was a wonderful wife, mother and friend.
