Manuela F. Campos

CAMPOS, MANUELA F. Manuela F. Campos, age 95, of Waco went to be with our Lord Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at her residence. Memorial services to celebrate Manuela’s life will be held at 10am Tuesday, December 17 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Lawrence Soler and Rev. Fernando Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7pm Monday, December 16 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. by Rev. Gonzalo Ferrer, with visitation to follow. Mrs. Campos was born in Havana, Cuba July 7, 1907 and came to the United States in 1965, seeking freedom and a better life. Mrs. Campos was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Carlos Campos May 2, 1993. Survivors include daughters, Yara C. Lamadrid of Waco and Magy Schuss and husband, Billy of Miami, Florida; son, Dr. Carlos M. Campos, Jr. of Newark, New Jersey; grandchildren, Yara Lamadrid Rose, Carlos Lamadrid, Richardo Schuss, William Carlos Schuss, Carlos Manuel Schuss, Magaly Campos, M.D., Carlos Manuel Campos, Guillermo Campos, Suzanna Campos and Carla Campos; and several great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Rose, James Quartely, Arturo Villarreal, Guy Duggan, Carlos Guillermo Campos, and William Schuss.
