Margaret Ann Teague May 4, 1935 - April 13, 2015 Margaret Ann Wetzel Teague of Waco joined her beloved husband, Donald, on Monday, April 13, 2015. Hand in hand they walk the streets of Heaven, joined by their son, Mark, where the concerns of the world are long gone. Services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 16, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Erin Jean Warde officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m., on Thursday, at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas, 75225. Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Margaret was born May 4, 1935, in Mart, Texas, to Reuben and Ruby Perry Wetzel. She and Donald were united in marriage on November 16, 1956, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She graduated from Providence School of Nursing in 1956, and earned her BS in Health Care Administration from East Texas State University in Commerce and a Master's in Education from North Texas State in Denton in 1987. Most of her career was devoted to developing continuing education for physicians. In 1988, she and Donald moved to Lubbock where both worked at Texas Tech School of Medicine. She was very involved in church affairs in the Diocese of N. W. Texas and St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; and son, Mark; and grandparents, Charles and Emma Wetzel and Charles and Anna Perry of Mart. She is survived by brothers, Jim Wetzel and wife, Gwenette, of Waco and Wilbur Wetzel and wife, Rose, of McGregor; sisters, Carolyn McCauley and husband, Patrick, of Waco and Linda Pemberton of Pflugerville, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. At the time of her death, Margaret was a resident of Providence Park and enjoyed her association with many loving friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Day School, 515 Columbus Ave., Waco 76701.
