MARGARET FARRIS Margaret Farris, 78, a loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Monday January 7, 2002 at local hospital. Graveside services will be 11:00am Wednesday January 9th at the McGregor Cemetery. A visitation for friends and family will be 5:00pm until 7:00pm Tuesday at the Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Chapel, 1124 Washington Ave. Margaret, a devoted homemaker, was born on December 30, 1923 in Oglesby, Texas. She married Ellis Farris on April 10, 1941. She was a devout Christian and attended Primrose Baptist Church. She had a wonderful sense of humor, was devoted to her family, and opened her heart and home selflessly. Margaret will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all those who were touched by her life. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Rosella Minnix and daughter Shirley. SURVIVORS: Her loving husband of 60 years; Ellis Farris of Waco Daughters: Patsy Farris of Waco Sue Gilbert and husband Ronnie of Waco Nancy Reynolds and husband Tom of Corpus Christi Grandchildren: Richard Martin of New York, NY Corey Barton of Austin John Martin and wife Jana of Arlington Sister: Rose Marie Mills of Fort Worth And many wonderful friends.
