Margaret Lou "Whitt" Golder May 7, 1923-April 21, 2008 Beloved mother and grandmother, Margaret passed away Monday, April 21, 2008, at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 25, at Holy Cross Cemetery with Msgr. Mark Deering of Waco officiating. The family will be at 302 Cedarwood in Hewitt. Mrs. Golder was born in San Diego, Texas, on May 7, 1923, to W.M. and Zoza Walsh. Before retirement, she worked for the Texas Highway Department and SMI. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Mrs. Golder was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Survivors include three sons, John and wife, Patty, of Axtell; Phillip and wife, Jane, of Hewitt; and William of Lorena; three daughters, Zoe Shaines and husband, Stuart, of New Hampshire; Susan Whitt of Lorena; and Cathy Hays of Waco; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Phillip Whitt Jr., Thomas Whitt, Jeremy Whitt, Dylan Whitt, John Mondragon Jr., and Chad Hays. Honorary pallbearer is Christopher Hays. Special thanks to the nurses and caregivers at Westview Manor Nursing Home and to Providence Emergency Room and ICU.
