Margaret M. Skretny July 25, 1944 – January 2, 2016 Margaret Mable Skretny, "Marg", a resident of Waco, Texas, passed away peacefully after a brave battle with cancer, at her daughter’s home in Metairie, Louisiana, surrounded by her family, on January 2, 2016, at the age of 71. Her Memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 12, at St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. John Guzaldo as Celebrant. A visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, Jan. 11, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Marg was born July 25, 1944, in Kenmore, New York. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Alvin Quimby and Ida Winifred Kelly Quimby. She was the beloved wife of Paul E. Skretny for 49 years; mother of Kim Mason (Mason) and Lynn Winfield (David); loving grandmother of Jacob Winfield and Matthew Winfield. Marg is also survived by many other loving friends and relatives. Those whose lives Marg touched will never forget her.
