SANDSTROM, MARGARET MALONE Margaret Malone Sandstrom, age 78 of Crawford, Texas formerly of Lubbock, Texas and Memphis, Tennessee died Saturday, August 16, 2003 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 10am Friday, August 22 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Memphis, Tennessee. A memorial service will be held in Lubbock, Texas at 11am Saturday, September 13 at Covenant Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are through Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd., Waco, Texas 76710 Mrs. Sandstrom was born June 4, 1925 in Birmingham, Alabama to Henry Booth and Willie Louise Collins Malone. She was a former bookkeeper at Layne and Bowler Pump Company in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a longtime member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Memphis, Tennessee and presently a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Melvin H. Sandstrom. Survivors include sister Doris Malone Bland and husband, Dr. William Griffin Bland of Long Beach, Mississippi, nieces Elizabeth Grace Bland of Munich, Germany and Susan Bland Ellis of Crawford; and nephew, Griffin Thomas Bland of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
