Margaret McDaniels June 24, 1921 - August 9, 2015 Our beloved Mother and Granny, Rose Margaret McDaniels, of Speegleville, Texas, entered the gates of Heaven on Sunday, August 9, 2015. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Brad Brittain officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Margaret was born June 24, 1921, in Waco, to Emin and Ruby Lillard Dyer. She was united in marriage to Acie Dessil AD McDaniels on July 2, 1939. They were married 51 years, until his passing in 1990. She was a beautician at the Cottage Beauty Shop for over 50 years, as well as a beautifully skilled seamstress, winning many awards. Her favorite hobby was bowling, winning city and state championships. She loved going camping with her family and friends. Margaret always furnished delicious food! She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, AD; her parents; her grandson, Jarrell McDaniels; granddaughter, Kim Lamb Sumerour; sisters, Dorris Peacock, Evelynn Blain, and Daisy Wallace; and brothers, Frank Dyer, L.W Bud Dyer and Charlie Dyer. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Patricia Patty McDaniels Lamb and husband, R.F. Freddy; sons, AD Corkey McDaniels, Jr., and wife, Mary Ann Candy, and Ronnie Martin McDaniels and wife, Vicki; grandchildren, Charles Lamb and Stacy, Melanie Lamb Chambers and Richard, Stacey McDaniels Herrin and Charlie, Randee McDaniels Klingele and Mark, Jason McDaniels and Claire, Justin McDaniels and Ruthie and Hillaree McDaniels. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Michael Lamb, Kristin Lamb, Carrigan Chambers, Tyler Sumerour, Ashton Chambers, Breck Chambers, Chad Herrin, Adam Herrin, Mallory Klingele, Regan McDaniels and Reese McDaniels; and great-great grandchildren, Caden Lamb and River McDaniels. Pallbearers are grandsons, Jason McDaniels, Justin McDaniels, Michael Lamb, Tyler Sumerour, Charlie Herrin, Mark Klingele, Richard Chambers and Jon Dyer.
