Margaret Virginia Beedy Henry passed from this earth peacefully on Thursday, November 25, 2021 in Belton, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Waco Memorial Park with Ernie Christie officiating. Visitation will be from 11 – 12 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home prior to the service. Margaret was born on September 1, 1923 in Floydada, Texas to Arthur J. Beedy and Dulcie Gibson Beedy. She graduated from Floydada High School in 1940. She attended Arlene’s Beauty School in Lubbock, Texas and graduated in 1942. Margaret was a hairdresser for almost 25 years. On March 28, 1948, Margaret married R.C. Henry, Jr. in Floydada, Texas. They lived in Floydada, Fort Worth, and Waco where they owned and operated Henry Truck and Trailer Rental together. She and R.C. were married for almost 50 years. Following R.C.’s death in 1998, Margaret lived with her daughter, Charlotte Jones and her husband, Ron Jones, in Sherman, Frisco, and Belton, Texas. Margaret was also a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed sewing for herself, family, and the public. She enjoyed crafts, painting, puzzles, word games, and reading. Margaret was always a very pleasant, content, and happy person who was a patient, loving, kind, understanding, humble, soft-spoken, self-motivated Christian woman. She loved and enjoyed her family very much. Margaret will be missed so much by her family and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Dulcie Beedy; her husband, R.C. Henry, Jr.; her great-grandson, Zachary Charles Jones; and six of her siblings, Elizabeth Amburn, Marian Lafayette, Ida Mae Ely, Grace Heath, Ruth Day, and Wayne Beedy. She leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memory her daughter, Charlotte Henry Jones and son-in-law, Ron Jones of Belton, Texas; grandsons, Brad Jones and wife, Mollie Jones and great-grandchildren Mackie Jones and Cameron Jones of Celina, Texas; Blair Jones and wife, Keri Jones, and great-granddaughter Sydney Jones of the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. Margaret also is survived by two sisters, Beatrice Goble of Beaverton, Oregon and Juanice Welch of Austin, Texas.
