STRAHAN, MARGIE DONNELL BILTON Margie Donnell Bilton Strahan, age 80 of Lake Whitney passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 1:30pm Saturday, September 20 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Dr. Buddy Sipe officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Friday, September 19 at the funeral home. Margie Strahan was born April 22, 1923 in Wortham, Texas to the late William and Johnnie Bilton. She married Cecil Barnell Strahan on June 20, 1946 in Waco, Texas. They had a loving marriage for 57 wonderful years. Margie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Survivors include her husband, Barnell Barney Strahan of Lake Whitney; daughters, Gail Hargrove of Lake Whitney, Bobbie Simons and husband, David of Valley Mills and Denise Strahan-Gateley of Woodway; son, Alan Strahan and wife, Peggy of Lorena; grandchildren, Al Flaherty, Patricia Cowan, Misti Stevener, Eric Strahan, Steven Simons, Hollie Simons, Marshall Gateley, Derrick Gateley; many great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; sister, Lucille Duelm of Round Rock; sisters in law, Ruth Smiley and Mary Ann Van Zandt; brother in law, Donald Strahan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Margie lived life to the fullest, and her greatest joy was spending time with her family who she loved so dearly. She will be missed by all who knew her. Pallbearers include Bobby Ray Musick, Chuck Beatty, David Simons, Terry Stevener, Eric Strahan and Steven Simons. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Wayne Falcone for 24 years of care; Dr. Falcone’s nurse, Missy, to the nurses at the Providence Congestive Heart Failure Clinic, to family friend, Michele Lloyd, R.
