Margie Hamilton Sept. 8, 1914 – Jan. 1, 2006 Margie Hamilton passed away Sunday, January 1, 2006 at Ridgecrest Retirement and Health Care Center. Services will be at 11:30 am Wednesday, January 4, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room with Rev. Ron Durham officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Wednesday morning prior to the service in the Garden Room. Margie was born September 8, 1914 in Hatfield, AR to Lias and Ola Lindsey. Margie was a member of the “first” graduating class of La Vega High School. Margie and Walter Hamilton were married in 1933 and she was a devoted wife for his lifetime. She worked at Southwestern Drug as an accountant for 29 years, retiring in 1973. Margie had been a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco for many years. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Wells of Waco, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter Willard Hamilton, and three brothers: G N Lindsey, W C Lindsey and A K Lindsey.
