Margie Harrison Quick December 22, 1921- June 11, 2013 Margie Harrison Quick of Waco passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at her residence. Friends are invited to a memorial service to be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room, 6101 Bosque Blvd., Waco, TX with reception following, and to leave a message or memory in her "Memorial Guestbook" at www.WilkirsonHatchBailey.com. Margie was born in Rice, Texas to James and Nera Harrison. She was preceded in death by her husband, James O. "Sloe" Quick, her parents and five brothers and sisters. She is survived by her two daughters, Lanetia Ann Quick Noble and husband, Clement of Wilmington, DE and Suzie Quick Dickerson and husband, Windel of Coupland, TX, and her son, James L. Quick and his wife, Patricia of Wilmington, DE. She is also survived by her cherished sister, Fredna Dean of Texas City, TX. "Nana" was deeply devoted to her children, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Mary Samuels, James and Odessa McWhorter, Mary Porris, Sherry Harris, and personnel of the Bluebonnet Hospice Service, particularly Jennifer Anderson, who aided Margie during her long illness.
