Margot Jan Jones Stewart was born June 18, 1941 in San Angelo, Texas and passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 12:58 am. Visitation will be Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Graveside for those wishing to attend will be at 2:00 pm at Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Mark Wible will officiate. Jan was born and raised in San Angelo, Texas. She attended Baylor University, receiving bachelor’s degrees in education and business. Jan married Jim Stewart on July 1, 1967. In 1988, she received certification as a veterinary technician and worked several years for Dr. Lamb at Lake Air Animal Hospital. Jan was proceeded in death by her parents, Marshall and Marguerite Jones, and her husband, James Haywood Stewart. Jan is survived by 3 daughters, Jennifer Lynn Grove of Lebanon, Oregon, and her 4 children, Tyler and wife, Aubrey, Haley and husband, Lane Stutzman, Megan and husband, Bryant Mizsei, and Emily and husband, Khalob Christenson; Penni Lee Colston and her husband, Terrance, and her 3 children, Marissa and husband, Devin Lowery, Sean and his wife, Brianna, and Devyn Smith; Melissa Ann Frazier and her husband, Thomas, and their 2 sons, Braden and wife, Carla, and Bryce and wife, Courtney; and 21 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Sean Blanchard, Braden Frazier, Bryce Frazier, Devyn Smith, Thomas Frazier, and Terrance Colston. Honorary pallbearers are her other grandchildren, Marissa Lowery, Tyler Grove, Haley Grove Stutzman, Megan Grove Mizsei, and Emily Grove Christenson.
