MARGUERITE STEPHENS Marguerite Stephens, 77, of Waco, died Thursday May 9, 2002 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be 11:00am Saturday May 11th at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev Ben Disney officiating. A visitation for friends and family will begin 6:00pm until 8:00pm Friday evening at the Wilkirson – Hatch – Bailey Chapel, 1124 Washington Ave. Marguerite was born December 10, 1924 in Elm Mott, TX to Frederick and Katherine Mueller Heine one of 12 children. She was a graduate of LaVega High School. She later married Charles J. Stephens August 3, 1946 in Elm Mott. Mrs. Stephens went to work for the Sears Roebuck Co. in 1960 and 35 years later retired in 1995. She loved to garden, was a marvelous cook, she could sew just about anything including the outfits she and Charles would wear to go Square Dancing, which was a favorite past time for both of them. Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters Agnes Landfried and Anna Wedemeyer and 1 brother Marvin Heine. Survivors: Husband: Charles Stephens of Waco Daughters and Sons: in order as written Charlotte Taylor and husband Bob of Alvin, TX Ray Stephens of Houston Carla Teel and husband Kirk of Whitney, TX Grandchildren: Toni Mayes, Troy Taylor, Amber Stephens, Randy Stephens, Laci Livingston As of May 21st her first great-granddaughter will be born Taylor Michele Mynar Sisters: Dora Pate Alvine Beheler Bertha Ellis Hattie Beheler Juanita Carter Frances Barger Brothers: Arthur Heine Karl Heine WILKIRSON – HATCH - BAILEY
