Maria Isabel Interiano-Carias

Maria Isabel Interiano-Carias, 76, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home in Waco, Texas. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Born December 28, 1946, in San Juan Tecuaco, Santa Rosa, Guatemala, Maria was the beloved daughter of Transito Carias and Petronila Interiano. She found immense joy in caring for children and made it her life's purpose as a child care provider. Additionally, she had a passion for cooking and treasured moments spent with her loved ones. Maria's warm and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many.

She was preceded in death by her parents along with her daughter Argelia Rodriguez.

She is survived by son, Julio Rodriguez, daughters, “la mechas” Dora Segura and Tatiana Interiano, grandchildren Cesar, Pedro, Edgar, Kimberly, Melisa, Ruben, Yoselin, Stiven, and Kevin, along with great- grandchildren Antonio and Allison.

We are very grateful for everyone’s love and support in these troublesome times. Maria’s memory will live on in all of us for as long as we go on.
