Marian A. Kunze January 15, 1937 - March 29, 2015 Marian A Kunze of Lorena passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Providence Hospice Place. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, at St. John United Church of Christ with Pastor Scott Spence officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Marian was born January 15, 1937, in Riesel, Texas, to Lorenz and Anna Fenske Schreiber. She was the manager of the Waco IRS office and IRS District Director Representative. Marian was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Robinson, and served on the church council. She was a life member of the University of Texas Texas Exes, a life member of Providence Auxiliary, life member of the Waco ISD Alumni Association and past president of Beta Sigma Phi of Altrusa. In her spare time, she traveled to Europe, Hawaii and in the United States. She loved to sew, crochet and travel across the U.S. in their R.V. while battling diabetes for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister-in-law, Mary Lou Jahnke and husband, Erwin. She is survived by Robert E Kunze of Lorena, Texas; Gregory Lee Kunze of Hubbard, Texas, Jeffery Paul Kunze and wife, Amy, of Lorena, and Valerie Howard and husband, Barry, of Lorena; granddaughters, Whitney Eaton and husband, Ray, Lindsey Kunze and Macy Kunze; daughter-in-law, Becky; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paul G and Mildred Kunze of Waco, Freddy and Nan Kunze of Richmond, Virginia, Rudy and Shirley Flores of Robinson, and James and Sue Kunze of Temple; and by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Scott Pierce, Gary Cox, Ted Neumann, George Simpson, Jr., Jim Vorderkunz, Fred Gstattenbauer, Bobby Schreiber, Edwin Londenberg, Tommy Sykora and Rudy Flores. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer Association, Diabetes Association or the American Heart Assoc. Special thanks to Royal Manor I and Providence Hospice Place.
