Marie Ann Whiteside December 23, 1937 - August 29, 2010 Marie Ann Whiteside of Waco passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at St. Catherine Center. Graveside services will be at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 1, at Waco Memorial Park with the Father Rakshaganathan Selvaraj officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 31, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Marie was born December 23, 1937 in San Antonio, Texas, to Nicholas and Bertha Hromadka. She grew up in Germany and France, graduating in Paris, France. She attended Baylor Nursing School. She and her husband, John Don Whiteside, owned City Drug in McGregor for 20 years. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her cat, MeMe. Marie was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John Don Whiteside; and her father, Nicholas Joseph Hromadka. She is survived by her sons, David Whiteside and wife, Margaret, of Lorena, TX., and Marke Whiteside and wife, Mary Lou, of McGregor, TX, and her daughter, Debora Carr and husband, Robert, of Waco; her mother, Bertha Agnes Hromadka of Waco; grandchildren, Tyler, Christopher, Matthew, Johnny, Stephanie, Bobby, Cager and Dillion; great grandchildren, Austin, John, Joseph, Brittany, Katie and Jade; brother, Danny Hromadka and wife, Pat, of Waco; and one niece, Cindy Ann.
