Marie Bell Markwardt August 31, 1917 - October 12, 2010 Marie Bell Markwardt of Waco passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at St. Catherine's Center. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 16, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church with the Pastor Paul Krupicka officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 15, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Marie was born August 31, 1917, in Carmine, Texas, to Walter and Leonie Neese. She was member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delton John Dick Markwardt. She is survived by son, Ross Markwardt and wife, Daylanne, Tucson, AZ; a granddaughter, Anne Virjee and husband, Perry, Vista, CA; and two great-granddaughters, Emma and Sarah Virjee.
