Marie Ellison 1921 - 2015 Marie Ellison of Waco passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Waco Memorial Park with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. She is in state at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Mrs. Ellison was born in 1921, in Crawford, Texas, to George and Ida Massier, one of ten children. She was married to Jim Ellison in 1948 in Waco. She was a homemaker and a member of Western Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband and seven sisters and a great granddaughter. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Roberson and husband, Richard, and Darlene Johnson and husband, Gary, all of Waco; two grandchildren, Greg Johnson and wife, Tara, of Evadale, Texas, and Stacey Johnson of Arlington; two great grandchildren; one sister, Rose Massier of Garland and one brother, Henry Massier of Gatesville; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of First Floor-St. Catherine and Providence Hospice for their care and compassion during our mother's final days.
