GRAMS, MARIE RACHUI Marie Rachui Grams, age 86 of Waco died Sunday, March 7, 2004 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 10am Wednesday, March 10 at Zion United Evangelical Reformed Church with Rev. Richard Rust officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Community Cemetery near Marlin. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Tuesday, March 9 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mrs. Grams was born September 13, 1917 in Falls County near Marlin to Oscar and Minnie Schroeder Rachui. She graduated from St. Paul’s School in 1933. She married Berthold Grams October 28, 1936. He preceded her in death March 11, 1991. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul and Zion United Church and was active in church work. She worked as a nursing assistant at Hillcrest Hospital for 12 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include daughter, Shirley Parks and husband, Ronnie of Axtell; sons, Jimmie Grams and wife, Linda of St. Paul, Minnesota and Steven Grams and wife, Cindy of Waco; grandchildren, Todd Parks and wife, Whitney of Axtell, Bethany Grams, Gregory Grams and David Grams all of Waco, Deidra Vingers and husband, Todd of Boston, Massachusetts, Nicole Ruis and husband, Mike, and David Kehr all of St. Paul; great grandchildren, Samantha, Sydney and Davis Vingers, Presley and Paige Parks and Zack Ruis; sisters, Edna McCormick of Houston and Van Stephenson and husband, Steve of Fort Worth; brothers, Ben Rachui of Tampa, Florida, Arthur Rachui of Corpus Christi, and Ed Rachui and wife, Linda of Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Rickie Grams, Dennis McCormick, Kevin Stephenson, Todd Parks, David Rachui, and Mike Ruis.
