Marjorie Ann Highsmith September 8, 1944 - February 20, 2014 Marjorie Ann Highsmith of Waco passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014, at her residence. Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m., Monday, February 24, at Waco Memorial Park. Ann was born at the family farm in Hewitt, Texas, to Richard and Mildred Cousins. She was a long-time employee at First Federal Savings and Loan Association in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vernon P. Highsmith; and two sisters, Marie Ricketts and Aileen Templeton. She is survived by her niece, Nancy Malley; great-niece, Kelly Ann Hauke; and two great-great-nieces, Alexandria Elizabeth and Samantha Joan Hauke, all of Marion, Indiana. Special appreciation is expressed to her caretakers, Eletra Mitchell, LaQuita Graves, Janet Reed, and Kathy Leon, who cared for Ann in such a loving manner.
