MARJORIE NABORS CASH, 84, of Waco died Friday in a local hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 20, 2001 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, The Rev. Ken Kesselus and the Rev Sarah Bennett officiating. Mrs. Cash was born March 11, 1917 in Waco, the daughter of Charles Abner and Ella Virginia Swaim Nabors. She married Merlin K. Cash June 1, 1941. They owned and operated The Colony Shop, opening first at 25th and Colonial in 1955, until retirement in 1975. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, volunteered for Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Friday Forum and Coterie Club. Survivors include her husband of nearly 60 years Merlin Cash of Waco; her daughter Ann Harwell and her husband David of Kilgore; her son Richard Cash of Lake Jackson and three grandchildren: David Wilkirson Harwell, Jr of Dallas, Austin Garner Cash of Baytown and Cooper McNeece Cash of Lake Jackson. Pallbearers will be Jay Mathis, Don McMahon, Ted Penner, Edgar Jablonowski, Stanley Jarosz and Pat Pattillo. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
