Marjorie Roberts Jones August 22, 1923 - January 1, 2013 Marjorie Roberts Jones, 89, formerly of Waco, Texas, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013, in Gunter, TX. Marjorie had been a resident of Hilltop Haven Nursing Home in Gunter for approximately three years. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 5, at Oakwood Cemetery with Ernie Christie from Lake Shore Drive Church of Christ officiating. Marjorie was born August 22, 1923, in Prairie Hill, Tex., to Henry Grady Roberts and Oletha Owens Roberts. Marjorie lived in Waco most of her life and she retired from Community State Bank in Waco. Following her retirement she and Malcolm enjoyed traveling and camping. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Malcolm H. Jones; her sister, Neva Crawford; her brother, Gaston Roberts; and a great-grandson, Zachary Charles Jones. She is survived by her son, Ronald F. Jones and wife, Charlotte Henry Jones, of Belton, Texas; her grandsons, Brad Jones and wife, Mollie, and great-granddaughter, Mackie, and great-grandson, Cameron Jones, of Tyler, Tex., and Blair Jones and wife, Keri, and great-granddaughter, Sydney, of Temple, Tex.
