Marjorie Rozelle

ROZELLE, MARJORIE Marjorie Pearce Rozelle, age 89, of Waco died Saturday, February 15, 2003 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be at 1pm Tuesday, February 18 at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Jimmie Spann officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Monday, February 17 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Rozelle was born in Hubbard on April 21, 1913. She moved to Waco in 1922, graduating from Waco High School in 1932. She worked in the printing and publishing industry for many years, including at James Connally Air Force Base and Advertising and Marketing Associates. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, Life Member of Rebekah Lodge #16, VFW Lodge Auxiliary 2148 and Order of Eastern Star #842. Mrs. Rozelle was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Rozelle, in 1978, brothers, Marion, Harold and Ralph Pearce, and sisters Myra Smith and Cathrine McLemore. Survivors include her daughter, Dona Moore-Puckett and husband Lee of Marfa, TX; two grandsons, Scott Moore of Iowa Park, TX and Brian Moore and wife Lisa of Bruceville-Eddy; great grandsons, Brandon Moore and Ray Moore; brother, Joe Pearce of Indianapolis, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brian Moore, Brandon Moore, Ray Moore, Wayne Darden, Charles Moore, and Paul Houk. Memorials may be made to the Marfa Public Library, P.O. Drawer U, Marfa, TX, 79843.
