Mark Jay Prewett passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 13, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Stanford Chapel Cemetery.
Mark was born October 29, 1955, in Huntington Park, California, to Carroll and Rita Prewett. He served his country in the US Navy from 1973 to 1977 and in the Navy reserves until 1979. Mark retired from Extraco Banks after twenty-two years. He enjoyed the outdoors, his music, and riding his Harley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Marilee Prewett; daughter, Megan Lovins and wife, Jennifer; two sisters; a brother; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Multiple System Atrophy Coalition Research Fund.
