COLEMAN, MARSHALL Marshall C. Coleman, age 87, of Fort Worth died Sunday, May 25, 2003. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Ross Sawyers officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 27 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mr. Coleman was born January 29, 1916 in Stephens County, Oklahoma. He graduated from Eastland High School in Eastland, Texas, and received a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Texas in 1960. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He married Dortha Develin on May 4, 1946. She preceded him in death on February 19, 2002. Mr. Coleman worked as a petroleum engineer for Gulf Oil Corp. for 41 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Genesis United Methodist Church in Fort Worth. He and his wife were former residents of Odessa, Houston and Jackson, Mississippi. He was presently living in Fort Worth. Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Coleman Miller and husband Ron of North Richland Hills; son, Coley Coleman and wife Nance of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Keith and Cherie Miller, Aaron Grey and Garrett Coleman; sisters, Ila Mae Coleman and Maxine Flynn, both of Waco; sister-in-law, Doween Dillingham of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
