BARLOW, MARTHA FRANCES Martha Frances Barlow, 71, passed away Friday, June 10, 2005 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 9:30am, Monday, June 13, at the Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Allen Grant and Rev. Randy Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North Cemetery. The world became a brighter place on September 21, 1933, when Martha Frances Lindsey was born in Waco, Texas to George and Reba Pack Lindsey. Her family moved to Bosqueville in 1947. Martha married Charley Barlow in 1950. They raised their 3 children in the Bosqueville –China Spring area. Throughout her life she was active in church, always being there when someone was in need. She was currently a member of the China Spring United Methodist Church. She loved to garden. Early, she had a career in banking, working at several local banks. In 1980, she and Charley established Barlow Tank Company. After retirement, she held several part time jobs around Waco. She touched the lives of all that she worked with. She considered her family to be her greatest career. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She was always very proud of them and enjoyed celebrating their many accomplishments. They will all miss their “Meme”. Ms. Barlow is survived by a daughter, Debbie Lynd and husband Gary of Woodway; two sons, Rick Barlow and wife Lisa of China Spring and Rob Barlow and wife Melinda of Burleson; grandchildren, Alyson Haas and husband Colton, Scott Lynd, Ricky Barlow, Cody Barlow, Zach Barlow and Savanna Barlow; one sister, Dorothy Scott and husband Bill and one brother, Charles Lindsey and wife Minnie. Pallbearers will be Scott Lynd, Ricky Barlow, Zach Barlow, Cody Barlow, Colton Haas, Marc Scott, Brian Scott and George Lindsey. The family would like to thank the doctors and the staff of Hillcrest Hospital, floor 7B for their care during the last few days of Meme’s life.
