HAUGHT, MARTHA Martha Haught, 79, of Waco, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Stephen Ramsdell officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, at the funeral home. Mrs. Haught was born September 30, 1925, in Delia, Texas, to J. V. and Vennie Yates Hardeman. She attended school in Prairie Hill and later moved to Waco to work for the telephone company. She married Harold Haught on December 20, 1945, who preceded her in death on September 6, 1996. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church and a member of the Odell Dudley Sunday School class. She was Communion Steward Chairman for 30 years. She enjoyed traveling throughout the country on family vacations and to postal conventions with her friends. Her two grandsons were especially dear to her heart. Their baseball games were never without her attendance. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Hardeman. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Brunson, and husband, Bill, of Robinson; grandsons, Keith Brunson, of Mansfield, and Greg Brunson, of Robinson; sister, Betty Skillern, of Fort Worth; sister-in-law, Melanie Hardeman, of Corsicana; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ken Geisler, Arch Coleman, Tim Stewart, Jack Stewart, Floyd Marshall, and Jabo Rubin.
