Martha Nanette Burt

Nanette Burt of China Spring, TX passed away November 9, 2007. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 12, 2007 at China Spring Cemetery with Rev. Allen Grant officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 11, 2007 beginning at 6 p.m. in the Garden Room at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd., Waco, TX . Nanette was born in China Spring, Texas on February 22, 1936 to Andrew H. and Ollie Corine Garrett. She was employed by Baylor University and worked in the mail room and was a loving homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents. Nanette is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Henry Allison Burt; daughters: Arlene Zacharias and husband, Edward of Watt; Cindy Burt Taggart and husband, Greg of China Spring; grandchildren: Catherine Nivan; JaCie Royal and Ashley Allison Walpole; three great-grandchildren and brother, Jerry Layton Garrett and wife, Bonnie of China Spring.
