Martha Phillips July 28, 1916 - May 20, 2009 Martha Phillips of Waco passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Jimmie Johnson officiating. Martha was born July 28, 1916, in Waco to W.V. and Nell Crawford. Martha has been a long time member of First Presbyterian Church and loved to play bridge, had her pilot's license and loved to fly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Judge W.T. Phillips. She is survived by one daughter, Vail Johnson, of Waco; one grandson, Scott Johnson; and one great granddaughter, Alexandra Vail Johnson, both of Seattle, WA.
