July 30, 1933 — January 19, 2002

MARTIN MOAK Martin Jolly Moak, 68, of Waco, died Saturday, January 19, 2002, in a local hospital. Services will be 1:30PM Tuesday, January 22, at WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY Washington Chapel, 1124 Washington Avenue, with Dr. John Collier officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00PM Monday January 21 at the funeral home. Mr. Moak was born July 30, 1933 in Mexia, Texas. He married Doris McMillian on September 5, 1949. She preceded him in death on December 14, 2001. He is also preceded in death by a son, Martin G. Moak, Jr., and a granddaughter, Stephanie Newman. Mr. Moak was a Korean War veteran, receiving the Navy Cross, Silver Star, two Bronze Stars and 3 Purple Hearts. After the military he was self employed. He was a great husband, daddy & Pap-Paw and was their hero. Survivors: daughters, Vicky Moak, Sheila Moak, Laura Hatch Poulter & husband Steve; 4 grandsons, Zack Hatch, Taz Hatch, Johnny Kocher, Danny Schrader; 3 great grandchildren, Riley Newman, Chase Newman, Amber Kocher; 3 sisters, Helen Riemer, Norma Fulcher, Sherry Bailey and one brother, Robert Moak & wife Pat. Pallbearers will be Vicky Moak, Sheila Moak, Loni Moak Laura Poulter, Tammy Ballew, Chymene McAdams, Vicky Casselberry, Zack Hatch and Taz Hatch. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
