Marvin Daniel "Danny" Crapps, Jr.

Marvin Daniel “Danny” Crapps, Jr, age 74, passed away peacefully at home on March 6, 2022. A graveside service will be held at Waco Memorial Park on March 12, 2022 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be March 11 from 6-8 p.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Danny was born September 23, 1947 in Montgomery, Alabama to Marvin and Virginia Crapps. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life, Carol, on September 2, 1972 and together, they had 3 children. Danny loved the Lord and devoted his life to sharing the gospel; serving the Church in Austin, Waco, and around the world; and ministering God’s love to those around him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Virginia Crapps; step-mother, Julene Crapps; his father- and mother-in-law, Andrew Jackson and Willie Mae McGee; his sister-in-law, Mary Lucy Crapps; his brother- and sister-in-law, Wayne and Dorothy Boule; and his nieces Charisse Wessels, Charlotte Boule, and Danielle Lassiter. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Carol; his son, Andy Crapps and wife, Laura; his daughter, Laura Crapps; his son, Aaron Crapps and wife, Lindy; his grandson and favorite buddy, Wyatt Crapps; his brother, George Crapps; his sister, Susan Lassiter and husband Bill; his sister, Cathy Mobley and husband, Alan; brother- and sister-in-law, Donovan and Martha Paul; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of spiritual brothers and sisters in the Lord.
