Marvin L. Grusendorf April 7, 1917 February 28, 2008 Marvin Grusendorf passed quietly away Thursday morning, February 28, 2008, surrounded by his loving family. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, March 3, at Rosemound Cemetery with the Rev. Donna Ware officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 2, 6-8 p.m. at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Garden Room. Marvin was retired from the 7-Up Bottling Company. He was active in his community, a member of the Hewitt Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the First United Methodist of Hewitt and loved his Wednesday morning coffee with members of the church. He loved life and laughter and taught all of his family so much. Marvin is survived by his children, Marty Johnston and husband, Tom; and Sherry Bender and husband, Benny; several beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his sister, Dorothy Brice, of Palestine. Donations in his memory can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Hewitt. The family wishes to thank Tracie, Teri and Tamara of Texas Home Health Hospice for their loving kindness.
