FINK, JR., MARVIN L. Marvin L. Fink, Jr., age 85, of Waco, died Sunday, April 29, 2001 at his residence. Services will be 1:30 PM Thursday, May 3rd at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Ben Disney officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, May 2nd at the funeral home. Mr. Fink was born May 2, 1915 in Waco. He received his B.A. degree in English from Southwest Texas Teacher’s College in San Marcos. He married Sadie P. Lillard of Rosenthal September 22, 1940. She preceded him in death February 19, 1995. Mr. Fink served in the U.S. Navy on a minesweeper in the South Pacific during W.W.II. He worked at James Connally Air Base and Waco V. A. Hospital for many years. He was a member oF Central United Methodist Church. Survivors include: Daughter: Joyce A. Fink of Fort Worth Son: Dennis R. Fink and wife, Patricia of Plano Grandchildren: Petra, Michael and Michelle Cousins: Barbara Brown of Waco Gloria Gillespie of Houston Elaine Bettis of San Angelo Larry Cable of Dallas Jack Criddle of Fort Worth Numerous nieces and nephews.
