Mary A Magee January 20, 1935 - September 13, 2008 Mary A Magee passed away Saturday, September 13, 2008 at a local hospital. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 16 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Dr. Paul Stripling and Rev. D. Michael Toby officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.Monday, September 15 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Mary was born January 20, 1935 in Waco to Elmo and Lillie Ford. She retired from Texas Life Insurance. Mary was a lifelong Baptist and a member of First Baptist Church of Woodway in Waco. Mary was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had many, many friends from her long affiliations with former co-workers at Texas Life, the Waco Garden Club, Weight Watchers organization and church groups. She will be terribly missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Billy James Magee. She is survived by son, Larry Magee and wife Janet of Barrington, IL; grandchildren, Courtney, Kristin, Cameron and Kelly; sister, Katherine Ford Smith and husband Christopher of Naples, FL and Ireland as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Cameron Magee, Bob Maxwell, Pete Garner, Matthew Garner, Mickey Magee and Chris Smith. The family requests memorials be made to Vista Care Hospice.
