Mary Addie Lankford March 23, 1918 – January 8, 2006 Addie Lewis Lankford passed away Sunday, January 8, 2006 at Hillcrest Hospital in the presence of her beloved family. Services will be at 11:30 am Wednesday, January 11 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel with Bro. Jason Patrick officiating. Burial will follow at Lorena Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Addie was born March 23, 1918 in Blum, Texas to Emmitt E. Lewis and Beulah Beatrice Lewis. Addie was educated at Highland School near Crawford. She married Sonny Lankford on January 9, 1940. She is survived by sons, William Lankford and wife, Gloria, Marvin Lankford and wife, Susan and Melvin Lankford and wife Nancy all of Robinson; daughters, Mayme Williams and husband, Joe Ed of Robinson and Rita Kasmier of Moody; brothers, Ira and Edward Lewis of Valley Mills; grandchildren, Dale Lankford, Glenn Lankford and wife, Lisa, Tracy Lankford and wife, Angie, Tim Lankford and wife, Beth, Pam York and husband, Matt, Valerie Kemp and husband, Chris, Lisa Lankford, Robyn Hensel and husband, Marcus, Teresa Mikolajewski and husband, Doug, Don Casey and wife, Jennifer, William Casey and wife, Lindsey, David Casey and 30 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Sonny Lankford, parents and sisters, Ellen Burkhart and Beatrice Nelson. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
